SED5MMFCUML Substitute Sediment Pre-Filter for Culligan Part # 00-4412-75, 00-4015-38, 00-0001-20, 4412-75, 4496-27, 4485-44, RS-23-SED5, S7011C
The SED5MMFCUML 5 micron filter is a Proprietary product designed exclusively for the Microline filter housings, and with some Proprietary filter products the consumer compromises the Purity and Safety of their drinking water because of performance limitations associated with the size, design, and choice of material used in manufacturing the filter. This filter uses Conventional Core, Micro-Fiber technology to remove Dirt, Rocks, Sand, Sticks, Bugs, and other large debris from untreated water. This filter is manufactured by thermally fusing thousands of small micro fibers together. This filter becomes easily saturated and fouled under excessive Sediment input, and requires more frequent service intervals and cartridge replacement. Cysts, Bacteria, and Super Fine Silt, Clay, and Debris WILL NOT be removed by this filter and will be passed on to the Membrane Filter when used as a Pre-filter in a Reverse Osmosis System, which would eventually result in premature Membrane failure.
Recommended Service Interval on Most Water Supplies: 3 years

- Sediment/Carbon Pre-Filter for Culligan Part # 01-0125-80, 00-0011-38, 01-0042-91, 01-0000-78, 01-0008-27, 4027-96, 4487-63, 4496-28, 4487-62
The CF5MCBCUML 5 micron filter is a Proprietary product designed exclusively for the Microline filter housings, and with some Proprietary filter products the consumer compromises the Purity and Safety of their drinking water because of performance limitations associated with the size, design, and choice of material used in manufacturing the filter. This filter uses Extruded Carbon Block Technology to reduce or remove Chlorine, Hydro-Carbon Gases, Sediments and other debris from untreated water. Small granules of Bituminous Carbon are crushed and molded into long solid Blocks of Carbon and then cut to specific lengths. Ammonia, Chloramines, VOC’s, Silt, Clay, and Bacteria pass through this filter because of the Carbon used and larger micron rating. This filter provides reasonable protection against Chlorine and Hydro-Carbon Gas contaminants when used in a Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System as either a Membrane Pre-filter or Storage Tank Post-filter.

- Membrane Filter for Culligan Part # (18 gpd): 00-4493-72, 01-0001-45, GA323018, AG1512TAR
The MEM18TFCCUML-H .001 micron Membrane filter is a Proprietary product designed exclusively for the Microline filter housings, and with some Proprietary filter products the consumer compromises the Purity and Safety of their drinking water because of performance limitations associated with the size, design, and choice of material used in manufacturing the filter. This Membrane uses a Thin Film Composite Cellular Skin to separate and remove Dissolved Solids, Salts, Minerals, Heavy Metals, Organic Matter, Pyroxene’s, Sub-micron Colloidal matter, Cysts, Bacteria, and other contaminants from untreated water. The TFC Membrane skin has a broader PH tolerance, can remove a higher maximum threshold of dissolved solids, and removes a higher percentage of dissolved solids than the CTA Membrane is capable of removing. The TFC Membrane can be used on Municipal or Well Water with proper pre-filtration. Typical Rejection of minerals and impurities for the TFC Membrane is 95%-99% removal, compared to 70%-80% for the CTA Membrane.
Recommended Service Interval on Most Water Supplies: 3 years

- Inline Carbon Block Post-Filter for Culligan Part # 01-0042-91, 00-4028-07, 01-000-79
The CF1/2MILCU (1/2) .5 micron filter uses Solid Pressed Molded Carbon Block Technology to reduce or remove Cysts, Bacteria, Chlorine, Ammonia, Chloramines, Hydro-Carbon Gases, VOC’s, Fine Sediments, Silt, and Clay from untreated water. Small granules of Coconut Shell Carbon are Crushed into Powder, Pressed and Bonded together with a “PATENTED” heat molding process to form a solid BLOCK of Carbon that is encapsulated inside a plastic vessel housing. Coconut Shell Carbon has much smaller cell sites in the fractionated carbon granules than Bituminous Coal, offering faster adsorption and more retention capacity of the Chlorine, Ammonia, Chloramines, Hydro-Carbon Gases, and VOC’s from the untreated water than Bituminous Coal is capable of. The Block Density provides 2-10 times more Volume Weight of Filter Material when compared to other Inline GAC Carbon Filters, also allowing better filtration of the Fine Sediments, Silt, Clay, Cysts, and Bacteria. This filter provides the best protection against VOC’s, Hydro-Carbon Gas, Cyst and Bacteria Contaminants when used in a Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System as either a Membrane or Storage Tank Post-filter.
