  • Sediment Pre-Filter for Microline, Superior, and Water-Right Part # S7011

The SED5MMFML-U 5 micron filter is a Proprietary product designed exclusively for the Microline filter housings, and with some Proprietary filter products the consumer compromises the Purity and Safety of their drinking water because of performance limitations associated with the size, design, and choice of material used in manufacturing the filter. This filter uses Conventional Core, Micro-Fiber technology to remove Dirt, Rocks, Sand, Sticks, Bugs, and other large debris from untreated water. This filter is manufactured by thermally fusing thousands of small micro fibers together. This filter becomes easily saturated and fouled under excessive Sediment input, and requires more frequent service intervals and cartridge replacement. Cysts, Bacteria, and Super Fine Silt, Clay, and Debris WILL NOT be removed by this filter and will be passed on to the Membrane Filter when used as a Pre-filter in a Reverse Osmosis System, which would eventually result in premature Membrane failure.

Recommended Service Interval on Most Water Supplies: 3 years

    SED5MMFML-U - Substitute Sediment Pre-Filter for Microline, Superior, and Water-Right Part # S7011

  • Membrane Filter for Microline, Superior, and Water-Right Part # S1224RS

The MEM14CTAML-U .005 micron Membrane filter uses a Cellulose Tri-Acetate Cellular Skin to separate and remove Dissolved Solids, Salts, Minerals, Heavy Metals, Organic Matter, Pyroxene’s, Sub-micron Colloidal matter, Cysts, Bacteria, and other contaminants from untreated water. Water containing Dissolved Minerals and other Contaminants is forced under high pressure through a Semi-Permeable, Spiral Wound, Cellulose Tri-Acetate Cellular Skin layered in several wrappings, to separate and rinse away many of the dissolved solids to a sewage drain, leaving most of the Pure, H20 water molecules for consumption. The CTA Membrane can only operate on Chlorinated water supplies, excluding it from use on Private, Shared, or Municipal Well Water which could possibly contain Bacteria that would contaminate and foul the CTA skin. The CTA Membrane is not capable of removing the maximum level of dissolved solids as the TFC Membrane, does not have the broad PH range flexibility as the TFC Membrane, and does not remove the percentage of dissolved solids that the TFC Membrane is capable of removing. Typical Rejection of minerals and impurities for the CTA Membrane is 70%-80% removal, compared to 95%-99% of the TFC Membrane. The consumer must be concerned about the limited success rate of the CTA Membrane due to the fragility of the skin and reduced life expectancy.

  • Carbon Post-Filter for Microline, Superior, and Water-Right Part # S7025

The CF5MCBML-U 5 micron filter is a Proprietary product designed exclusively for the Microline filter housings, and with some Proprietary filter products the consumer compromises the Purity and Safety of their drinking water because of performance limitations associated with the size, design, and choice of material used in manufacturing the filter. This filter uses Extruded Carbon Block Technology to reduce or remove Chlorine, Hydro-Carbon Gases, Sediments and other debris from untreated water. Small granules of Bituminous Carbon are crushed and molded into long solid Blocks of Carbon and then cut to specific lengths. Ammonia, Chloramines, VOC’s, Silt, Clay, and Bacteria pass through this filter because of the Carbon used and larger micron rating. This filter provides reasonable protection against Chlorine and Hydro-Carbon Gas contaminants when used in a Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System as either a Membrane Pre-filter or Storage Tank Post-filter.

  • Inline Carbon Block Post-Filter for Microline, Superior, and Water-Right Part # S7206-06C

The CF1/2MILML-U (1/2) .5 micron filter uses Solid Pressed Molded Carbon Block Technology to reduce or remove Cysts, Bacteria, Chlorine, Ammonia, Chloramines, Hydro-Carbon Gases, VOC’s, Fine Sediments, Silt, and Clay from untreated water. Small granules of Coconut Shell Carbon are Crushed into Powder, Pressed and Bonded together with a “PATENTED” heat molding process to form a solid BLOCK of Carbon that is encapsulated inside a plastic vessel housing. Coconut Shell Carbon has much smaller cell sites in the fractionated carbon granules than Bituminous Coal, offering faster adsorption and more retention capacity of the Chlorine, Ammonia, Chloramines, Hydro-Carbon Gases, and VOC’s from the untreated water than Bituminous Coal is capable of. The Block Density provides 2-10 times more Volume Weight of Filter Material when compared to other Inline GAC Carbon Filters, also allowing better filtration of the Fine Sediments, Silt, Clay, Cysts, and Bacteria. This filter provides the best protection against VOC’s, Hydro-Carbon Gas, Cyst and Bacteria Contaminants when used in a Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System as either a Membrane or Storage Tank Post-filter.

The MEM35TFCML .001 micron Membrane filter is a Proprietary product designed exclusively for the Microline filter housings, and with some Proprietary filter products the consumer compromises the Purity and Safety of their drinking water because of performance limitations associated with the size, design, and choice of material used in manufacturing the filter. This Membrane uses a Thin Film Composite Cellular Skin to separate and remove Dissolved Solids, Salts, Minerals, Heavy Metals, Organic Matter, Pyroxene’s, Sub-micron Colloidal matter, Cysts, Bacteria, and other contaminants from untreated water. Water containing Dissolved Minerals and other Contaminants is forced under high pressure through a Semi-Permeable, Spiral Wound, Thin Film Composite Cellular Skin layered in several wrappings, to separate and rinse away the dissolved solids to a sewage drain, leaving only the Pure, H20 water molecules for consumption, production, processing, or manufacturing. The TFC Membrane skin has a broader PH tolerance, can remove a higher maximum threshold of dissolved solids, and removes a higher percentage of dissolved solids than the CTA Membrane is capable of removing. The TFC Membrane can be used on Municipal or Well Water with proper pre-filtration.
